410th Regiment

  • Constituted 24 June 1921 in the Organized Reserves as the 410th Infantry and assigned to the 103d Division (later redesignated as the 103d Infantry Division)
  • Organized in November 1921 with Headquarters at Roswell, New Mexico
  • Ordered into active military service 15 November 1942 and reorganized at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana
  • Inactivated 20 September 1945 at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey
  • Activated 25 January 1947 in the Organized Reserves with Headquarters at Cedar Rapids, Iowa
  • (Organized Reserves redesignated 25 March 1948 as the Organized Reserve Corps; redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)
  • (Location of Headquarters changed 1 April 1950 to Iowa City, Iowa)
  • Reorganized 18 May 1959 as a parent regiment under the Combat Arms Regimental System to consist of the 1st Battle Group, an element of the 103d Infantry Division
  • Reorganized 15 February - 15 March 1963 to consist of the 1st Battalion, an element of the 205th Infantry Brigade
  • 1st Battalion inactivated 15 August 1994 and relieved from assignment to the 205th Infantry Brigade
  • 410th Infantry withdrawn 17 October 1999 from the Combat Arms Regimental System, redesignated as the 410th Regiment, and reorganized to consist of the 1st, 2d, and 3d Battalions, elements of the 85th Division (Training Support); 1st, 2d, and 3d Battalions concurrently allotted to the Regular Army
  • Regiment reorganized 1 December 2006 as a parent regiment under the United States Army Regimental System; concurrently 1st, 2d, and 3d Battalions relieved from assignment to the 85th Division (Training Support)
  • Reorganized 1 October 2016 to consist of the 1st, 2d, 3d, and 4th Battalions
