            Inactivated 28 May 1946 in Germany

            Redesignated 1 August 1966 as the 43d Signal Battalion; concurrently allotted to the Regular Army and activated in Vietnam

            (Companies A, B, C, D, and E inactivated 1 March 1970 in Vietnam)

            Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 43d Signal Battalion, inactivated 30 May 1971 in Vietnam

            Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 43d Signal Battalion, activated 1 July 1974 in Germany
