  • Redesignated 10 November 1948 as the 404th Signal Telephone and Telegraph Company and allotted to the Organized Reserve Corps
  • Activated 24 February 1949 at Waterloo, Iowa
  • Reorganized and redesignated 3 October 1950 as the 404th Signal Operations Company
  • Reorganized and redesignated 15 April 1952 as the 404th Signal Support Company
  • (Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)
  • Reorganized and redesignated 1 February 1954 as the 404th Signal Company
