  • Constituted 10 November 1942 in the Army of the United States as Company G, 466th Quartermaster Truck Regiment
  • Activated 10 December 1942 at Fort Custer, Michigan
  • Reorganized and redesignated 11 December 1943 as the 3607th Quartermaster Truck Company
  • Disbanded 14 March 1945 in Italy
  • Reconstituted, converted and redesignated 1 March 1949 as the 126th Transportation Truck Company and allotted to the Organized Reserve Corps
  • Activated 8 July 1949 at Manchester, New Hampshire
  • Inactivated 13 September 1949 at Manchester, New Hampshire
  • (Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)
  • Redesignated 21 January 1955 as the 126th Transportation Company; concurrently withdrawn from the Army Reserve and allotted to the Regular Army
  • Activated 10 March 1955 at Fort Eustis, Virginia
