Inactivated 10 October 1945 on New Guinea

Converted and redesignated 1 August 1946 as the 3389th Transportation Corps Driver Detachment

Redesignated 7 July 1965 as the 389th Transportation Detachment and allotted to the Regular Army

Activated 21 July 1965 at Fort Eustis, Virginia

Inactivated 30 September 1979 in Korea

Activated 1 April 1984 in Korea

Inactivated 1 April 1994 in Korea

Withdrawn 20 June 2005 from the Regular Army and allotted to the Army Reserve

Activated 16 September 2010 at Conroe, Texas
