Activated 15 May 1943 at Seattle, Washington

Reorganized and redesignated 25 August 1944 as the 851st Port Company, Transportation Corps

Inactivated 10 February 1946 in the Philippines

Redesignated 19 April 1948 as the 851st Transportation Port Company and allotted to the Organized Reserve Corps

Activated 28 April 1948 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

(Organized Reserve Corps redesignated 9 July 1952 as the Army Reserve)

Reorganized and redesignated 18 February 1955 as the 851st Transportation Company

Ordered into active military service 1 October 1961 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; released from active military service 7 August 1962 and reverted to reserve status

Location changed 30 June 1969 to Pedricktown, New Jersey

Inactivated 15 September 1994 at Pedricktown, New Jersey

Activated 16 September 2010 at Corpus Christi, Texas
