Converted and redesignated 1 November 1981 as the 1087th Transportation Company

Ordered into active Federal service 29 November 1990 at Vidalia; released from active Federal service 29 May 1991 and reverted to state control

Location changed 1 October 1999 to Jena

Ordered into active Federal service 10 February 2003 at Jena; released from active Federal service 16 June 2004 and reverted to state control

HOME STATION: Jena (less detachments at Jonesville and Bunkie)
