  • Organized and Federally recognized 13 November 1947 in the Kentucky National Guard at Paducah as the 149th Engineer Combat Company
  • Reorganized and redesignated in 1953 as the 149th Engineer Company
  • Converted and redesignated 1 October 1959 as Company B, 2d Medium Tank Battalion, 123d Armor
  • Ordered into active Federal service 15 October 1961 at Paducah; released from active Federal service 11 August 1962 and reverted to state control
  • Reorganized and redesignated 6 April 1964 as Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 123d Armor
  • Consolidated 1 March 1968 with Company A, 1st Battalion, 123d Armor (see ANNEX 1), and consolidated unit designated as Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 123d Armor
  • (1st Battalion assigned 1 November 1980 to the 149th Armored Brigade; relieved 1 November 1985 from assignment to the 149th Armored Brigade and assigned to the 38th Infantry Division; relieved 21 October 1988 from assignment to the 38th Infantry Division and assigned to the 35th Infantry Division)
  • Converted and redesignated 1 May 1995 as the 2113th Transportation Company and relieved from assignment to the 35th Infantry Division
  • Ordered into active Federal service 20 March 2003 at Paducah; released from active Federal service 4 June 2003 and reverted to state control
  • Ordered into active Federal service 16 December 2004 at Paducah; released from active Federal service 13 June 2006 and reverted to state control
  • Consolidated 1 September 2008 with Detachment 1, 2113th Transportation Company (see ANNEX 2), and consolidated unit designated as the 2113th Transportation Company
  • Ordered into active Federal service 5 December 2009 at Paducah; released from active Federal service 8 January 2011 and reverted to state control
