Visiting Instructions

From the East Gate: Continue on Hatfield Street, past the intersection with Irwin Street where the Aviation Display is on the right. After passing Irwin Street, take the next possible right turn which leads into the parking lot of the MI Library and Soldier Heritage Learning Center. From the Main Gate: Take Squire Avenue west. Turn right onto Irwin Street. Turn left onto Hatfield Street. Take the next possible right turn which leads into the parking lot of the MI Library and Soldier Heritage Learning Center.

Bringing a group? If you are planning to visit Fort Huachuca with a large group or tour, please see the Fort Huachuca Visitor Access Page for details on requesting a Special Event Waiver. For questions regarding installation access please call the Fort Huachuca Directorate of Emergency Services at: (520) 533-3269\2447.

Visitors, contractors and vendors 18 years and older, entering Fort Huachuca, who do not have a DoD identification card, will be subject to a background check before being allowed entry to the installation. Those who present a common access card (CAC card), Military ID, Military Dependent ID, Gold Star ID, or other valid DoD credential won’t be affected.

International Visitors: International visitors are required to arrange for a Department of Army identification card holder escort prior to their visit. Please contact City of Sierra Vista public information office, at 520.458.3315 or intl@sierravistaaz.gov to arrange for an escort at least three weeks in advance.

About the Military Intelligence Soldier Heritage Learning Center

The Army Intelligence Museum acts as custodian and repository for artifacts significant to the history of intelligence organizations, operations and individuals and provides military history education. The museum highlights the role of Military Intelligence within the U.S. Army from 1775 to the present day and honors the achievements of Soldiers acting in intelligence roles. Museum exhibits include a World War Ii German Enigma cipher machine, a large fragment of the Berlin Wall, a vehicle operated by the US Army Military Liaison Mission during the Cold War and signals intelligence gear used by the Army Security Agency. The museum also displays of manned and unmanned intelligence aircraft at the outdoor Air Park on Hatfield Street.
