Visiting the Museum

Accessing Fort Gregg-Adams

Fort Lee is a closed installation with strict access requirements.

When the Rte 36 gate is open, public access is available without going through the gate to reach the post. In times of heightened security, the garrison will close the public access gate, requiring visitors to follow all base access rules and procedures.

For up-to-date information about post access, please see https://home.army.mil/lee/access

The Quartermaster Museum highly recommends that first-time visitors, and visitors who have not been to the base recently, review the Fort Lee Visitor Information webpage before arriving.

First-time visitors may be able to expedite entry by using the Automated Installation Entry website before coming to Fort Gregg-Adams.

Additional details are available on the U.S. Army Garrison Fort Lee Visitor Information webpage.
